School books deposit

From the start, one of the priorities of the Cursol Foundation was to pursue the primary, secundary and college text books in various educational centres of Valencian Autonomous Cummunity in order to ship them to the spanish speaking shools in devoloping countries.

Through its staff and volunteers, the Cursol Foundation takes responsability for collecting, depositing and classifying the text books in good shape to be shiped.

There are several schools actively participating in this initiative, such as:Colegio Sagrada Familia de Benimaclet, Colegio Juan Comenius de Valencia, Colegio Sto. Tomás de Villanueva-Agustinos de Valencia, Colegio El Vedat de Torrente, Colegio San José de Calasanz-Escolapios de Valencia, Colegio Guadalaviar de Valencia, Colegio San Juan Bautista-HH Maristas de Dénia, Colegio Sagrado Corazón-Carmelitas de Dénia etc. Our intention is to include more schools willing to donate their used text books and, consequently, to enlarge the school book deposit.

Early in December of 2015, the Foundation carried out the first shipment of the texts books to the educational centres in Guatemala and Nicaragua. Like all our projects, this one was also completely charitable effort which, in association with our collaborators, as its utter objective clearly persues educational and professional formation of young students with no text books available.
